Hiring activity down by 4% in the month of August, 2012 - September 10, 2012

Industries like IT, Gas & Oil, Pharma, and Auto have shown continuously falling figures since the beginning of this year. Companies are now cautious in hiring and opt only for replacement hiring. Hiring in Construction and Engineering sector has dipped the most by 13 %, followed by Banking Sector that dipped by 12 %, Sales and ITES sector dipped by 6% and decrease in recruitment in Telecom and Auto Sector have ranged between 6% to 9%.
