As the Decisions for Life Trade Union Campaign we are working with young working women and young women seeking employment. The aim of the Campaign is to empower young women to make informed decisions about their working conditions, career choices, study options and personal and family lives.
Through workshops, meetings, cultural events and one on one engagements we have reached out to more than 2000 young women all over the country in the past 2 years. In these exciting encounters young women have shown a great interest in networking with organisations that can provide them with information, assistance and support as they make important decisions in their working, studying and personal lives.
As one way of facilitating this networking process we are inviting your organisation to participate in a “Decisions for Life Young Women’s Market Day”.
This will be a space where different organisations will be getting together, giving talks and marketing what they could do to assist young women progress in their personal and professional lives. We will have marketing display stalls for different organisations from women’s organisation building, youth skills development, education, media, job creation etc.
