Free Protection
The employer can be required to provide special facilities, i.e. protective clothes, showers, arrange periodical examination by a recognized health institution, if employees work on the workplace where toxic materials are present. Occupational Health and Safety Act, 2003
Labour Inspection
The central inspection authority does not exist in Tanzania, but there are province-based labour inspection systems.
Training
An employer is obliged to provide appropriate training, instruction and supervision to ensure safety and health of the persons at workplace. Occupational Health and Safety Act, 2003, chap. 95
