It is obligatory for an employer to ensure health, safety and welfare of persons at workplace and rehabilitation for employees who have been affected.  Occupational Health and Safety Act, 2003, chap. 95

The employer can be required to provide special facilities, i.e. protective clothes, showers, arrange periodical examination by a recognized health institution, if employees work on the workplace where toxic materials are present. Occupational Health and Safety Act, 2003
