The economy grew by 11.1% quarter-on-quarter in the third quarter, which is still 5.3% below last year’s level. The government has decided to support the labour market and businesses by granting affected businesses compensation up to 80% of the revenue in the same month of last year. The payment of this compensation is bound to the condition that no employee is made redundant. Additionally, the short-time work scheme has been adjusted and extended until the end of March 2021.
