On the National Day of Hungarian Culture, the Trade Union of Public Cultural and Public Collections Employees, KKDSZ, held a demonstration to protest against the low level of pay across the culture sector and the lack of any pay increase for their members for over 10 years. In a petition KKDSZ demands immediate wage negotiation between union representatives and the government, as well as a pay increase.
