Sweden - Unemployment back to financial crisis level - August 31, 2020

Unemployment rose in June, with over half a million people in total without work. In total, 557,000 people or 9.8% of the labour force, were jobless in June 2020, up 2.6 percentage points from the previous month. Unemployment is now higher than the peak during the financial crisis of 2009, when unemployment reached 9.3%.
